Free public event for those interested in creating a pollinator hub in their yard, thinking of starting a native plant garden, or who care about the environment! 11am-3pm. Family friendly.
Organizations, artists, landscapers, native plant nurseries including Rust Belt Natives and vendors who focus on native plants and ecology will be there to assist & answer your questions about native plants, native landscaping, and buying natives. Rain or shine event. It will be a fun, interesting & informative day. Bring a buddy! (And also a box or tote for your plant purchases.)
This event is hosted by Pittsburgh Area Native Plant Group (a Facebook group) with over 1000 members who care about native plants and ecology.
